The institute was founded under the umbrella of the Laeeque Rafiq Foundation, a not-for-profit organization committed to uplifting healthcare and education in South Punjab. Named after Ch. Muhammad Laeeque, the foundation and its institutions embody his lifelong dedication to service, honesty, and humanity.

Since its establishment in 2002, the institute has steadily grown into a center of excellence, expanding its academic portfolio, modernizing its infrastructure, and affiliating with renowned national regulatory councils. Today, it stands recognized not only as an educational hub but as a community-centered healthcare institution that combines learning, research, and service under one roof.

Mission

To produce Health Sciences professionals who shall be self directed life through learning. We are aiming at developing professionals who shall assure leaderships position in academics, health related institutions. The candidates shall be critical thinkers equipped with the knowledge, attitude and skills to address the health problems according to the quality standards and evaluation with an emphasis and research. This shall be achieved through the state of the art, innovative educational strategies involving a variety of learning and teaching methods including the use of advanced educational electronic technologies.
